Our People

The People of PEARUSA

PEARUSA is a highly collaborative group of Anglican Churches working together as a Missionary District to plant healthy, reproducing Anglican churches. We are under the supervision of the Anglican Church of Rwanda (often called by its acronym, PEAR) and its leader the Most Reverend Onesphore Rwaje, the Archbishop and Primate of PEAR. We are also a sub-jurisdiction of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and we enjoy a fruitful friendship with the Most Reverend Bob Duncan, the Archbishop and Primate of the ACNA.

PEARUSA itself is governed by the College of Bishops and the Mission Council, who lead the Missionary District by embodying our commitment to collaborative leadership.
